Hey ,
Just a heads up to our long distance and coaching students of Warrior Concepts and the Bujinkan Mori no Tora Dojo...
There was a fire in the plaza where the dojo is located, having started by way of an explosion in a questionably legal repair shop located in an adjacent space to Warrior Concepts. No one was injured and, thankfully as it
was not a Tuesday or Friday evening - our busiest evenings with multiple classes... our space was unoccupied at the time of the blast.
We have been working hard to not only save weapons, valuables, and
decades worth of training notes, books, etc... on both the Ninpo and Mikkyo side of training... but also in trying to assess damage and alternative means of delivering classes... both live and online (including Warrior's Whiteboard Wednesdays) while the landlord tries to get us back up and running.
In the meantime, at least for the next several days, classes are on hold including this week's Tuesday Ninpo Masterclass which normally be done tonight at 6pm eastern. My plan is to return to the format we used during Covid, at least temporarily, even if we have to train in the parking lot until things are taken care of. I will, however, be conducting our Tuesday and Friday
group coaching calls as usual as they are done from my home office anyway.
Overall, just another reason to be practicing NIN - perserverence, endurance, and not giving up - no matter what!
I apologize for any inconvenience, and will follow up regularly to keep you in the "loop."
In Mastery!
