That's the topic for tomorrow's Whiteboard Wed strategy and tactics training session...
Hatsumi Sensei has always warned about pride and believing that our techniques were unbeatable. Even when someone made a mistake with a technique in the dojo he would say: "You have to train with that in mind. Failure is a part of combat, and life. You must be able to adapt."
That's this week's topic - training for failure - and your reminder about our next Warrior's Whiteboard Wednesday training session... tomorrow at 3:00pm eastern time (check your time zone for the correct time in your area!)
During today's training, we'll be looking at how we can actually train in a way that helps us, both mentally and physically deal with the failures (i.e.
missed strikes, lost opportunities, etc.) that will inevitably happen in an attack situation - especially against an attacker who is bigger, stronger, better skilled, or otherwise has the upper hand!
If this is something you think is important in the context of your own training, then...
Tune in live for this week's tactics & strategy lesson. We go live with this week's training tomorrow mid-afternoon!
