During this week's training, an online student expressed what many have said out-loud about Hicho no Kamae
Did you catch this week's Warrior's Whiteboard Wednesday Training?
If you caught either KUDEN! or Warrior's Whiteboard Wednesday for this
week, you probably caught the "secret" an online student said out loud about Hicho no Kamae, the Gyokko-Ryu's single-legged "flying bird posture/attitude, which was that they didn't think it had any real world usefulness... until my classes that is.
If you missed this week's tactics and strategies training session on this often misunderstood skill (hint: it's NOT a damned "crane stance!"), you can CLICK HERE or on the pic above to catch up.
🔥 Tomorrow night,we go beyond fixed technique training with the Hicho no kamae and hicho no kata examples to gain a better understanding of the power, deception, and adaptability embodied within this often dismissed combat posture. Through drills and defense
technique examples contained within the Warrior Concepts / Mori no Tora black belt curriculum, you'll be able to get a much deeper appreciation for what this posture actually represents, and the higher skill proficiency it'll give you once you master it.
If you want to expand your defensive abilities, multiply the number of techniques you own, and add the power within the Ninja's hicho "flying bird" combat posture, then you're invited to be a part of this closed-door, advanced level
training...
🛡 As usual, this virtual training class streamed from the dojo via Zoom is just $9—and you’ll also get the full video recording afterward to review again and again for continuing progress.
🚀 Secure your spot now and train with me and other serious, self-protection-oriented students during this week's Friday Masterclass.
