Did you catch this week's Warrior's Whiteboard Wednesday Training?
If you caught either KUDEN! or Warrior's Whiteboard Wednesday for this
week, you now know that most fighters and self-defense practitioners focus almost entirely on physical skills and techniques, even against the lessons of Hatsumi-Sensei and his own teacher, Takamatsu-Sensei who said: "If the mind is weak, the body will crumble."
But, what is it about the mind that will make the body "crumble?" And, more to the point, how do we make sure, after all this time training to make sure our physical skills are solid, that we're not
setting ourselves up to b an accomplice to our own @ss-kicking?!
🔥 Tomorrow night,we go beyond technique-only thinking with an important topic for those training for making sure their ready for a real-world attacker (or attackers), and not just "show-off" quality in the dojo. Since I've been called out of town, Shidoshi Whistler will be leading students through a few drills and exercises designed to highlight
where and how the brain can "glitch" under extreme pressure, so that we can work to make sure we fix them before we're face-to-face with evil.
In all honesty, this really is
the kind of training that gets WAY fewer students than physical technique training. I think that, for most, it's either not entertaining enough, or Ego already thinks it's "got this" or, more likely... it's interesting but just... too much damned hard work!
If you know you need this, then...
🛡 As usual, this virtual training class streamed from the dojo via Zoom is just $9—and you’ll also get the full video recording afterward to
review again and again for continuing progress.
🚀 Secure your spot now and train with Shidoshi Whistler and other serious, self-protection-oriented students during this week's Friday Masterclass.
Here's the link to register for this week's virtual Ninjutsu class from my dojo via Zoom, tomorrow, March 7th at 6pm eastern.
