Techniques for when you're too far away? WTF is that?!

The focus of this week's Warrior's Whiteboard training was on "attacking" when you're out of range...
Hatsumi Sensei always said: "Control the Distance and You Control the Fight..."
...sounds simple, doesn't it? But, what are the skills behind the skills to do this apparent "simple" thing?
Not sure if you caught this or not, but...
The theme for this week's training, begun during Monday's KUDEN! Radio podcast episode, using different types of "relational" distance factors, and doing more than just
measuring the physical distance between your body and his in a bad situation. During the Whiteboard Wednesday Training which, as you know, is all about the strategic and tactical aspects of controlling an attack scenario (it's for those who want more than just "martial arts thuggery!")...
...I focused on a distance rooted in classical Japanese martial arts that, as usual, we Ninja see and use VERY differently than most. Instead of seeing it as a "dead zone," so-to-speak,
we see it as a HUGE opportunity to actually take away the lion's share of the advantage he thinks he has - taking control, not only before he throws his first punch, grab, kick, etc. but, before he ever realizes he lost control in the first place!
This IS VERY HIGH-LEVEL training!
If you missed this week's training episode, just click on the pic above to catch up.
As always... if you want to take things to the next level and actually learn some technques and
tactics based on Wednesday's class...
...we're going to take this further during Today's Ninjutsu Virtual Masterclass... broadcast live via Zoom at 6pm eastern, from my Bujinkan Mori no Tora Dojo here in East-central Pennsylvania...
...where you'll be exploring how to develop a much deeper level of understanding in how to take full advantage of even distances too far for either of you to throw
anything!
Click HERE or on the pic below to get details about what you'll be learning, and register now before all the spots are gone (limited to the first 20 students!):
So, if you want to take your skill proficiency with this aspect of your training further... then be sure to register for this week's Virtual Class before the 4:30pm deadline the day of the class. (Due to the class schedule at the dojo, it's necessary to close the doors on registration 90 minutes before class start!)
I look forward to training with you very soon!
