Most students know the names of the different body weapons in the Ninja's art. But many, like the sokki-ken 'knee/shin'
Hey ...
One of the first lessons I learned in the ninja's arts is that, "Nothing in Ninjutsu is what it looks like." And, when it comes to the shinobi-warrior's knee/shin "fist" (sokki-ken), nothing could be more true. Because, just as with just about everything else "Ninjutsu," while there is the "obvious," there is also the hidden... like the name of this
weapon pointing to key and important principles for improving many other skills that have little to nothing to do with striking, kicking, or other conventional uses for this part of the body.
That's the topic and focus for tonight's Friday Virtual Masterclass where we'll be looking at examples from both sides of the proverbial coin.
Here's the link to register for this week's virtual Ninjutsu class, broadcast from my dojo via Zoom, tonight at 6pm eastern, where I'll be teaching several techniques that demonstrate what I covered in this week's Warrior's Whiteboard Wednesday around the concept of "strategic combat footwork." If you missed the training, here's the link to get caught up:
If you already registered for this week's Master Class, then I'll see you later today. If you haven't registered and don't want to miss out, there are still spots remaining.
You can do that by clicking on the pic, or on the link below it to lock in your spot now (remember, there are only 20 total spots
available.):
This special online, live, virtual class is only $9 for the 75 - 90 minute lesson AND forever access to the recording (just in case life changes or you can't make the live class!)
That's it. Time's running out...
I look forward to training with you very soon!
In Mastery!
