While most people believe that the Ninja only trained with and knew about their Ninja-to or Shinobi-gatana shorter blades, this isn't the case.  In fact, the Shadow Warriors had to also know the conventional sword of the time - the Katana or what most people ca;; the "Samurai Sword."

Why?
