It's a timing thing

"It's a timing thing."
Which usually pointed to one of several possible mistakes we were making which had nothing to do with the physical pieces of the technique - where to step, with which leg, which strike and where... but EVERYTHING to do with how well the technique worked... at speed, to catch our opponent the way that particular technique was supposed to.
That's the topic of this week's episode of Warrior's Whiteboard Wednesday, where we'll be exploring the concept of several types of timing, it's importance as one of the core principles and why, if you want to stop fighting like everyone else and hoping for the best... this is a realm that can't be glossed over with the same "I know it already" attitude that stalls the progress of many well-intentioned students and practitioners (instructors too!).
We'll be going live with this week's episode at 3:00pm eastern time later today (check your time zone for the correct time in your area!). So...
If you want to go beyond trading punches and all the other "tough-guy" fight tactics used by everyone else, regardless of "cool style..."
...then, you'll definitely want to make sure you tune in for this week's tactics & strategy lesson!
