One of the things that I've found over the past 43 years in this art (yes, I'm THAT old! LOL)...

...is that many of the things that I took for granted having begun training when and with the teachers I did, just aren't available to very many students these days.

I know that many don't even know they're missing this, nor do their own teachers because of the psychological effect often simply called "first-impression bias." This type of bias leads us to make quick, impulsive decisions based on our first impression of something, and leads us to confirmation bias...

...the tendency to only look at, for, and be okay with things which are already in alignment with what we already believe to be true.

A key piece of my training puzzle that I took for granted, and found that a LOT of students are missing, is a set curriculum with which they can know both:

1) WHAT they should be working on at any given time, and...

2) WHERE they are within that framework (and what they still have to work on)

That's why I created a series of workbooks for students to do just that, based on my Warrior Concepts Black Belt Mastery Program. These workbooks were originally only for use by my own personal students, but after seeing how many students were trying to learn this art by doing the proverbial "flying by the seat of their pants" method... I decided to offer them to those who are looking for some structure to their training...

...regardless whether or not they were going through my program or not.
