The power of a "fully-actualized human being"
Published: Wed, 09/20/23
Tonight's the night! I've been invited to teach at a major university on the concept of "power."
And, while this could be approached from several different angles, I decided to come at it using a reference point that I've been studying almost since the beginning of my training in the art of Ninpo - the higher order and life mastery philosophical teachings of Japan's ancient Ninja warrior's of the night.
I'm talking about the Tatsujin - the full-actualized human being - the person who is a walking, talking, living example of the ancient life lessons in action.
This is the individual who sees reality clearly, understands how things really work (not what they want to see, or how they want things to work), and can accomplish his or her goals:
- Effectively
- Efficiently, and...
- With less wear and tear on themselves in the process.
Sounds cool, right?
I mean... it's certainly a lot better than merely "accepting" things like everybody else, feeling the day-to-day "grind," and feeling like life is a constant roller coaster ride with plagued by ongoing cycles of ups and downs and our goals...
...the ones that really matter to us... always seem just out of reach... or destined for somebody else to enjoy.
I don't know about you, but from the very first time I heard about this concept - about the Tatsujin - I was intrigued and drawn to know more...
...especially more about how "I" could become one (still working on it, but the ride has produced more than I ever thought possible when I started out)!
If you're interested, I'm going to try to record my talk on "Power and the Tatsujin" tonight. I say "try" because there's always the possibility that
1) the university powers that be may change their minds at the last minute (so far - so good though), or
2) technology fails me, or
3) whatever "Murphy's Law" chooses to throw in my direction. ;)
But that's the plan.
So, I may have that available later in the week, or early next week, for those who may want a copy (it's a closed lecture, so no one outside the class is allowed. Sorry local students!).
In the meantime, you may be interested in a program I created years ago for students who wantedto study this very topic, and at least begin the process of laying a solid foundation for creating the kind of power, confidence, and control that really makes a difference. It's called "Ninja Mind," and you can check it out here: https://onlineninjaacademy.com/ninja-mind/ if this is something you'd like to explore more deeply as well.
If you'd rather wait for the lecture recording(s) to be available, no worries; I'll let you know when that's available.
Until then...
To your attainment of personal and Warrior Mastery!
