Ninja Motivation & Influence

Hey .
One of the required training areas of a true Ninja back in the day - a part of what's known as the Ninja no Hachimon or '8 Gates of authentic Ninjutsu training'...
...is called Ninja no Ugei (pronounced: "oo-gay" in Japanese).
But, where most people look at the misleading translation of "deception and manipulation," this area of study is much more than that... and can be used for good; rather than evil, self-serving purposes.
It would actually be better to describe it simply as "influence."

Another problem with this area of study... or actually... the problem with the way people view it...
...is in how they think of the concepts of influence and control.
Where most people see this as coming from a place of force - making someone comply, or endlessly trying to convince them - which actually produces more and more of the resistance, and even resentment, they keep getting...
...this tactic actually works by doing what I call, "speaking their listen."
That means that they have nothing BUT choice... which is EXACTLY why it works.

Of course, the choice is yours. But why wouldn't you want to learn how to help others, whether they're your kids, co-workers, friends, or other family members... to do what they already know they should... but can't seem to do it for themselves?
