Do you know what today is, ?

It's that time of the week where we get retro here at Warrior Concepts and Online Ninja Academy.
If you've been following along with us you will remember and if you're new to this then this is your heads up. These are some of our older videos, so they're definitely not the HD quality you may be used to seeing, but if you've been following Dai-Shihan Miller for any length of time, you know that the information he gives away in his videos still makes it well worth the time to watch.
This week's Throwback Thursday video is: Online Ninja Training: Koshijutsu & Koppojutsu Counterstrikes (Part 2)
If you want, go to the 41 second mark if you want to get straight to the lesson and skip the intro title screen.
If you remember, the last Throwback was to the first part of this two-part video. Can check the first part out here if you missed it: Ninpo-Taijutsu Self-Defense Tactics: The Difference Between Koshi & Koppo Counterstrikes (Part 1).
Part 1was on a Gyokko Ryu "swatting" counterstrike and now on Part 2 we're going to take a look at the Koto Ryu "circular" counterstrike and how it differs in application as well as how it affects the attacker's limb.
If you haven't seen it yet, you can get even more details about 3 different Uke Nagashi, check out a past Warrior's Whiteboard Wednesday that Dai-Shihan Miller did specifically on Uke Nagashi and find out more about the two you saw in the video and learn about a 3rd one!
Watch it here: Warrior's Whiteboard Wednesday - 3-2-22 | Why 'Blocking' Isn't
You've now seen two different counterstikes from two different lineages...why are they different? How do they fit into each school's core strategy and principles? Let us know what you think in the comments!
Make sure you're subscribed to the channel if you aren't already and hit the bell to get notifications of when we post up new videos, with new videos or live streams every week!
Don't forget that we also have our Fall Ninja Training Camp coming up September 30 through October 2nd! Register to attend now either in person or virtually at https://onlineninjaacademy.com/events.
Train hard and be safe!
